Ann, who also appeared on Show 48, was born in Glasgow, Scotland and was schooled in England. She started her career as a top photographic model in London and Europe. After moving to Los Angeles, she worked as an actress in theater, film, and television for the next ten years. In 1996, after living in the San Juan Islands and interacting daily with the resident Orca whale pods of the Puget Sound, Ann wanted to formulate a non-profit organization to help protect all whales and dolphins.

After extensive research and investigation regarding the well-being of these majestic creatures--especially from the physical and mental abuse that she saw at Sea World and other captive "swim-with-dolphin" industries--she created the Universal Cetacean Institute.

Ann has traveled extensively around the world to study with spiritual teachers. She has spent considerable time in India, particularly with her teacher in the Himalayas. She has a rich background in psychology and metaphysics. She received her PHD in Metaphysical Science from the University of Metaphysics in California.
