The i180 is an old brand. I would recommend a Segway i2. This is been the base model since late 2006. It is far easier to steer and generally is a fantastic experience to use. The i2 is the urban model, the x2 is the off-road model.
ReplyDeleteThe 20km must be in context (in terms of real transport speed its even better!) In New Zealand you can ride Segway's on the sidewalk/footpath. I find in practice that I am getting across town faster than car/motorcycle traffic because I can cut across pedestrian areas/parks and therefore aren't dealing with traffic jams. This is particularly obvious during peak time traffic.
The response I get from people is generally very positive.
